After the accident Jacqueline has needed over 40 operations.Jacqueline was caught in the burning car and her body was heavily burnt. The doctors are still working on Jacqueline, whose body was 60% covered with severe burns.
The car in which Jacqueline traveled. She was hit by another car that was driven by a 17-year old male student on his way home after a couple of hard packs of beer with his friends. This was in December 1999.

GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT LIFE, THAT LITTLE CHILDREN HAVE LEARNED:
1) No matter how hard you try, you can't baptize cats.
2) When your Mom is mad at your Dad, don't let her brush your hair.
3) If your sister hits you, don't hit her back. They always catch the second person.
4) Never ask your 3-year old brother to hold a tomato.
5) You can't trust dogs to watch your food.
6) Don't sneeze when someone is cutting your hair.
7) Never hold a Dust-Buster and a cat at the same time.
8) You can't hide a piece of broccoli in a glass of milk.
9) Don't wear polka-dot underwear under white shorts.
10) The best place to be when you're sad is Grandpa's lap.
GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT LIFE, THAT ADULTS HAVE LEARNED:
1) Raising teenagers is like nailing Jell-O to a tree.
2) Wrinkles don't hurt.
3) Families are like fudge . . . mostly sweet, with a few nuts.
4) Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
5) Laughing is good exercise. It's like jogging on the inside.
6) Middle age is when you choose your cereal for the fiber, not the joy.
GREAT TRUTHS ABOUT GROWING OLD:
1) Growing old is mandatory; growing up is optional.
2) Forget the health food. I need all the preservatives I can get.
3) When you fall down, you wonder what else you can do while you're down there.
4) You're getting old when you get the same sensation from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster.
5) It's frustrating when you know all the answers, but nobody bothers to ask you the questions. 6) Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician.
7) Wisdom comes with age, but sometimes age comes alone.
THE FOUR STAGES OF LIFE:
1) You believe in Santa Claus.
2) You don't believe in Santa Claus.
3) You are Santa Claus.
4) You look like Santa Claus.

Tatiana Turns Twelve
I can hardly believe it......My baby is turning 12!!! On December 25th..my baby will be 12!! The same little girl that would pee in the front yard (much to the embarassment of my 17yr old sister ) just because it would take to much time to come in the house..!!! The same little girl who would play with anyone.......never picky about age or disablitiy...or what someone might think....She would befriend anyone . One day when Tawni was about 4...she was out riding her bike and we needed her to come home for dinner ...so Jim went out and walked down the street to find her.....well as he walked he called her name and he got stopped at least 4 times by complete strangers saying..."oh Tawni went that way"....well he came to find out that every time she went on her ride around the block..she would stop and talk to every person she met along the way.....One woman said she would chase people down to talk to them and introduce herself!!! Kind of scarey ..YES..but at the same time very sweet!!! They all adored her!!
Tawni has brought us such joy. She has been head strong and spirited since the day she was born. She has grown into a beautiful young lady. This past year has been a roller coaster....from working to go to Mexico and finially getting to go (WOW! What an experience that was!!) to us getting kicked out of our trailer and haveing to move several times......But the biggest challenge she has had this year...was holding me through the death of my oldest and dearst friend. She went with me to California...and walked me through some things I would have never been able to do alone....and she has continued to be my rock. She can hear me crying no matter where she is in the house and she always comes running. I don't know how I would have made it without her!! She has put up with my sudden outburst, crying and snapping at her for no reason...with more grace and forgiveness than most adults would in the same situation.
I am proud to say she is my daughter. I have no doubt that she will continue to grow in grace and beauty...and I can't wait to see how she uses her talents to bless others in the future...... Tawni we love you more than you could ever know !!
HAPPY 12th BIRTHDAY TAWNI VERN !!!!
Fathers note:
Yes, Tawni, I agree YOU have been a solid rock for your Mom. I don't think we would be doing so good as a family without you holding your mommy when daddy can't be there cause he has to work. My hardest job, I have always said, is to teach you how to direct your stubborness (which is a good thing) in the right way. The next year will hold many joys for us and I am sure some sorrows to. God bless you as you grow into a beautifull women. An rememeber that VERY important trait of being a friend to anyone who will listen to you. I remember in the Billings Mall you walking up to a guy in a cowboy hat an cowboy boots putting your hands on his knee and started a conversation with him like you had known him for years. That friendliness is your MOST ADMORABLE quality. Love the world like God tells you too and you will be blessed.
I LOVE YOU BABY DOLL

A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard cut as always.
He started to have a good conversation with the barber who attended him.
They talked about so many things and various subjects.
Suddenly, they touched the subject of God.
The barber said: "Look man, I don't believe that God exists as you say so."
"Why do you say that?" - asked the client. Well, it's so easy, you just have
to go out in the street to realize that God does not exist.
Oh, tell me, if God existed, would there be so many sick people?
Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed, there would be no suffering nor pain. I can't
think of a God who permits all of these things."
The client stopped for a moment thinking but he didn't want to respond so
as to prevent an argument. The barber finished his job and the client went
out of the shop.
Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street with a long hair
and beard (it seems that it had been a long time since he had his cut and he
looked so untidy).
Then the client again entered the barber shop and he said to the barber:
You know what? Barbers do not exist." "How come they don't exist?"-asked the
barber.
"Well I am here and I am a barber."
"No!" - the client exclaimed.
"They don't exist because if they did there would be no people with long
hair and beard like that man who walks in the street."
"Ah, barbers do exist, what happens is that people do not come to me."
"Exactly!"- affirmed the client. "That's exactly the point. God does exist, what
happens is people don't go to Him and do not look for Him that's why there's
so much pain and suffering in the world."
