HAPPY BIRTHDAY KAREN !!

Karen,

I feel truly blessed to call you a friend !
You are such an inspiration to me, You are always there to share your wisdom, a comforting hug or a laugh ! You are one of those people who can inspire without making me feel less..does that make sense?
You have such a sweet heart, one that truly seeks to honor God in all you do. You are someone who is always seeking to be more like Jesus and you’re not afraid to do the work that it takes. I look at you and see what I aspire to be...A woman who loves the Lord, honors her husband, loves her children, and blesses her friends ! And you do it all with a sweet and humble heart. I admire you more than words can say ! I hope you have a wonderful Birthday and a blessed year ahead ! I wish I could be down there to hug you in person...so just consider yourself HUGGED !

I thought this was a great picutre of the old days. Though I liked the feeding dear picture better it had to much brush in the way so you couldn't tell it was you.

Happy, happy birthday to you!!

On my bulletin board I have a picture taken at the same time as this one of the two of us with our faces painted. You're wearing the "LOST" sign. This was about the time when we first meet Willem.
Wow, how time travels on.

I like the deer picture too Jimmy!! It's one of my favorites.
Love ya!

Gack!!!

Where in the world did you dig up that old photo?!?

Sundee, that was so sweet of you to post those wonderful sentiments. I wish I really was all that you say, but I know my own heart, and I hope someday to be that very lady that you described!

Lis', I remember those days so well - they were fun, weren't they? My kids, of course, just shake their heads with awe that I was ever so...so...young. (However, they LOVE the picture of me petting the deer on that retreat!)

Thanks, Kristina! Much love to you!

And thanks, Elicia - I had a wonderful time away with my honey and our littlest one. We snuck away to a place with just one requirement from me: a jacuzzi tub. I was able to soak my tired ol' bones and I feel so refreshed after our little time away from Life.

God is good, and I'm grateful for life, family, and friends.

Love to you all!
(And thank you again, Sundee - much love to you!)

~Karen

And PapaPyro blessed me with a digital video/still camera! So I should have more pictures up on our blog in the near future!
