I just downloaded a free trial of Scrapbook Max......I have been very against these digital scrapbook programs.....and I still prefer the look of the hand done pages...but the ease...the no mess...and less cost...plus the fact that I can print Multiple copies of the same page with just a click of a button have pages done for family members........NO NO don't worry I am not the new rep. for Scrapbook Max......just sharing a private battle.......to scrap the traditional way...which is an art all to itself.....or to move into the future and actually get these scrapbooks done ! What do you think???

That's a toughie! This looks totally cute, but I know what yo mean about doing it all by hand. Hmmmm...
Oh, MAN. Don't abandon me now, girl!
Just when I was thinking that I should really start scrappin' again!
I can't wrap my heart around the digital ones, but I can see how sometime in the future (far, FAR future) I will reach the place you are now...
*sigh*
Maybe you could do BOTH? Go with me here for a second... You could do tons and tons of them, like you said, very easily so that you have them for just about everyboduy and their cat who you might want to give one to. This way many more people could enjoy the cool photos of your kiddos, etc. BUT...are you still going with me? You could still also do the more traditional scrapbooking by hand for more special books, perhaps for special friends or family, particular gifts for someone, etc.
My thought is just that maybe you don't have to do an "all or nothing" choice here. :) I LOVE to crochet, though arthritis in my thumbs and wrists is putting quite a crimp in that activity these days, and I also love building websites. Two totally different venues, one definitely more traditional than the other, but both serve their purpose for me. Sometimes when my hands hurt too much to crochet I can still type. :)
I have realized lately that whatever I really want to do most, I will gravitate toward. It has been a painful lesson at times, but only because of the circumstances. You get to learn this too...are you scrapbooking by hand because you really love the activity? Or do you balk at the electronic version because it seems "less authentic" somehow. Don't fall into the trap that so many of us do of setting one version up to be somehow "better" or "more real" than another. Do what draws your heart in...it may not be the same version every time.
I love you, Sundee.
Hugs all around,
Lorrie B.

Just click and go, girl! Like you said, no mess, no cost, easy to leap a pile of photos in a single bound! Maybe you could do old fashioned scrapping for making special cards for people or shadowboxes to hang on the wall and such.
